A- Gas Tanks Regulators
Liquefied petroleum gas is kept in tanks under pressure ranging between 40 - 125 I P.S.I. as per air temperature and this pressure is not suitable to operate ovens and tools operating at low pressure not exceeding 0.5 I P.S.I.
Gas Regulator is fixed on the tank so that to reduce pressure to the required operated pressure and regulator is tests as per application purpose.
Types of Gas Tanks Regulators:
There are Two main types of Regulators:
1- First Stage Regulator:
This type is fixed directly to the tank and gas goes out from it with relatively high pressure higher than the required operating pressure and less than pressure inside the tank and it is used when distance between tank and application place is far so that gas can move via extension distance and reaches to the oven with relatively high pressure.
2 - Single Stage Regulator:
This type is fixed directly to the tank and gas goes out from it with low pressure equal to the required operating pressure and is usually used if the distance between tank and application place is near "in the limits of 20 meters".
Second Stage Regulator:
This type is used with first phase regulator so that to be fixed at the end of laying prior entering into application place so that to enter there to the relatively high pressure gas and going out from it low pressure equal to the required operating pressure.
