1963

The Beginning: Establishment of Gasco

The National Gas and Manufacturing Company (Gasco) was founded as a result of the merger between the National Gas Company and other institutions operating in gas distribution within the Kingdom. This consolidation unified efforts to create a strong entity capable of meeting the growing market demands.

1975

Expansion of Storage Capacity

This year marked a major infrastructure development for Gasco with the establishment of its first large-scale storage facilities, enhancing its ability to reliably supply gas across the Kingdom.

1993

Growth of the Logistics Fleet

The company's fleet of gas tankers expanded to nearly 300 vehicles, enabling Gasco to enhance its transportation and distribution operations and strengthen its market presence.

2004

Production Upgrade

Gasco upgraded its cylinder production lines across all stations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for consumers.

2008

Launch of Fiber Cylinders

The company introduced lightweight and durable fiber cylinders, marking a significant leap in the gas distribution sector. These cylinders are characterized by their ease of handling and high safety standards.

2009

Infrastructure Enhancement

A central workshop was established for cylinder maintenance, contributing to the improvement of safety and quality standards while ensuring the sustainability of operational processes.

2015

Increased Storage Capacity

Gasco expanded storage capacity at the Jeddah plant, enhancing its ability to meet the region’s growing demand for gas.

2017

Smart Services Development

Gasco initiated the development of supply chain procedures across all regions of the Kingdom, providing smart solutions that ensure the sustainability of supplies and enhance operational efficiency.

Digital Transformation

Gasco launched a digital, commercial, and human transformation initiative to enhance operational efficiency and improve the customer experience.

2020

Launch of Gas Solutions Company

Gas Solutions Company, a subsidiary of Gasco, was launched to enhance the provision of advanced solutions in the gas and energy sector.

2022

Expansion of Operational Capacities

The first gas tank under the first phase of the project to increase liquefied petroleum gas storage capacity was manufactured, enhancing the company's storage capabilities.

2024

Transformation into a Holding Company and Launch of 2028 Strategy

This year marked Gasco's transformation into a holding company, overseeing several subsidiary companies specialized in energy solutions. Additionally, the 2028 Strategy was launched, aiming to enhance innovation and sustainability while expanding into future energy solutions.
