100,000 Tree Planting Initiative

Project Overview

As part of our environmental commitment and in collaboration with the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority, we have launched an ambitious initiative to enhance vegetation cover and improve the environment.
The King Salman Royal Reserve is the largest in Saudi Arabia, covering 130.7 square kilometers across Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, and the Northern Borders. This initiative is a crucial step toward supporting the Saudi Green Initiative, which envisions a greener and more sustainable future in alignment with Vision 2030.

Our Role

Driven by our dedication to sustainability, we have provided full support for this ambitious initiative , which aims to plant 100,000 seedlings over three years. Our support includes: Providing technical and financial resources. Coordinating efforts with local partners to implement best practices in ecosystem restoration. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions and promote biodiversity, aligning with the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030 objectives.

Outcomes

Restoring natural habitats: 45% of degraded natural areas within the reserve will be rehabilitated by 2030.
Reducing carbon emissions: Each tree will absorb 4 kg of CO₂ annually, helping lower the carbon footprint
Improving soil quality: Enhancing soil fertility and the sustainability of local natural resources.
Supporting biodiversity: Promoting wildlife conservation and maintaining ecological balance in protected areas.
Advancing Vision 2030 goals: Contributing to the Saudi Green Initiative for a greener and more sustainable future.
